MISSING: Elderly man left for doctor appointment, never returned to Santa Cruz home

An elderly man was reported missing after he left for a doctor appointment in the Bay Area and never made it home.

According to the Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office, 87-year-old Eugene Oster went to a doctor appointment in Palo Alto on Thursday November 1 and left the office around 3 p.m.

Oster has not made it back to his home in the Santa Cruz Mountains.

“He does not have his cell phone with him, but is driving a Silver 1995 Honda Accord 4 door,” the sheriff’s office said.

The license plate number on the Honda is 4BIW115.

Oster is about 6ft tall and weighs roughly 200 pounds.
