COLD CASE: Santa Cruz Police still working to solve murder a year later.

Tuesday marks the first anniversary of the Samuel Marroquin homicide and the Santa Cruz Police department is still looking for leads.

On October 2nd last year, officers responded to an unconscious male on the San Lorenzo River Levee near the Broadway Bridge in Santa Cruz.

Officers located Samuel Marroquin with multiple gunshot wounds who died at the scene.
