Greenfield man sentenced for sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl

A Greenfield man learned his punishment for sexually assaulting a teenage girl.

The Monterey County District attorney said 24-year-old Angel DeJesus Ramirez was sentenced to three years in prison on Tuesday, September 25th for one count of lewd act upon a child.

In August of 2017, Ramirez sexually assaulted a 13-year-old girl in his estranged wife’s car which Ramirez had stolen earlier the night.

A CHP officer then saw the car as it was being driven my Ramirez’s 18-year-old cousin. Ramirez who was in the passenger seat with the victim was already on felony probation for domestic violence.

The judge also sentenced Ramirez to a consecutive one year term for the vehicle theft and another year for violating terms of his probation for a total of five years in prison.
