Security guard shot at in Salinas
A suspect is wanted in the attempted homicide of a Salinas security guard.
Early Saturday morning officers responded to a ShotSpotter activation on the 400 block of E. Market Street near Mariano’s Club.
The officers found a victim (a security guard) who had apparently been shot at from a dark colored SUV.
Officials say “several bullet strikes were located and it appears that the guard was the intended target and was unharmed.”
This case is still under investigation.
