San Francisco fire crews rescue 2 off cliff, 1 from water
San Francisco fire officials say crews rescued a couple from a cliff and a man who was floating in the water below.
San Francisco Fire Department spokesman Lt. Jonathan Baxter says the man rescued from the water Thursday was taken to a hospital in critical condition.
The two rescued from the cliff were partially in the water and clinging to rocks. They are in stable condition.
Authorities received a call around 5:20 a.m. from a woman who said they were stuck on a cliff and that one of their friends was injured but didn’t know their exact location.
The area is a steep cliff and is protected by a barrier that the group had to climb.
U.S. Park Police is investigating.
