El Grito Festival brings culture to the streets of Salinas
The Salinas community came together to celebrate Mexican Independence Day at the El Grito Festival on Sunday.
The festival that included dancing, music, shopping and traditional Mexican food stands took up Alisal street.
People there said the festival was a great opportunity to learn about Mexican culture and people.
Festival-goers showed their spirit and pride by wearing elaborate costumes.
