Police: Woman dies from hit-and-run injuries in Salinas

UPDATE: 9/14/2018 2:30 p.m. Salinas Police are investigating a fatal hit and run incident after a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle early Friday morning.

Police confirmed a woman was seriously injured after being hit by a car near Roy Diaz and De La Torre Street.

SPD said the woman was transported to a local hospital and later died from her injuries.

The incident occurred around 2:30 a.m. Friday.

The suspect in the incident has not been apprehended. This is an ongoing investigation.
