Nine arrested in Salinas raid on West Laurel
Nine people are in police custody after a raid at a Salinas house.
The Salinas Police’s Violence Suppression Unit, Patrol, HSI, State Parole and the CHP had a warrant to search the house in the 100 block of West Laurel.
After entering the house, 11 people were taken out and detained while it was searched.
Police found 13 ounces of methamphetamine, 2 grams of heroin, supplies for drug sales, a 12 gauge shotgun and shotgun rounds.
40-year-old Felix Castro, the renter of the house, was arrested on gun and drug charges. 29-year-old Juan Macias and Valicia Bugarin were arrested on drug, probation violation and conspiracy charges.
Six others were arrested for warrants and probation violation.
