Marina PD needs help identifying armed robber

The Marina Police Department needs the public’s help identifying an armed robbery suspect.

A man walked into the 7-Eleven at 320 Reservation Road and pointed a gun at the store employee, demanding money.

The robbery occurred around 4:30 a.m. on August 25.

The suspect was seen leaving in a tan/beige GMC Sierra crew cab pick-up (mid 2000’s model) and drove eastbound on Reservation Road.

MPD said the truck had visible damage to the right front passenger door.

The suspect was described as Caucasian or Hispanic man, about 5’10” tall with a medium build. He was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt with the hood up, black jacket, a baseball cap, blue jeans, and black shoes. The robbery suspect was also wearing a black skeleton bandana over his face.

Marina PD said, “Further Investigation revealed that the same suspect may be related to incidents that occurred in Hollister and San Juan Bautista.”

Surveillance cameras captured an unclear image of the license plate.

Anyone with information about the robbery suspect is asked to call Marina Police Detective Pablo Andrade at 831-884-1276.
