Hollister PD investigates homicide after victim dies from injuries
UPDATE: 8/31/2018 4:22 p.m. A shooting investigation in Hollister has turned into a homicide investigation after a man died from his injuries.
On Thursday (8/22), the victim, 39-year-old Ronald Molina had been visiting a friend in the 200 block of Santa Ana Road when he was shot at.
Molina was taken to a trauma center where he reportedly died on August 29.
The Hollister Police Department said they’ve developed and are pursuing leads, but as of now no arrests have been made.

The Hollister Police Department is investigating a shooting that left one man in critical condition.
According to police, the attempted homicide happened in the 200 block of Santa Ana Road around 4:30 p.m. Thursday.
The victim, 39-year-old Ronald Molina had been visiting a friend when he was shot three to four times in the torso. He was taken to Hazel Hawkins Hospital and later transported to a trauma center.
“It is currently unknown why Molina was shot,” said HPD.
