Structure fire in Aptos under investigation

Several fire crews responded to a structure fire in Aptos.

According to Aptos/La Selva Fire, the fire started at a home at 357 Moosehead Drive.

The fire ignited around 2:37 p.m. Thursday, August 16th.

The fire department advised that the public stays away from the area while firefighters work to put out the flames.

They were able to quickly extinguish the flames.

There was damaged to the second story and outside of the home.

No one was hurt.

Still no word on a cause.
