Safeway in Carmel’s Crossroads Shopping Center robbed, suspects at large

The Monterey County Sheriff’s Office is looking for two men who robbed a Safeway in the Crossroads Shopping Center in Carmel.

The Sheriff’s Office said it happened on Wednesday, August 1st at 5:23 p.m.

Deputies now need the public’s help identifying the two suspects.

No one saw a weapon, but the suspects mentioned a gun when they were confronted by a store employee.

The Sheriff’s Office said the two should be considered armed and dangerous.
