Big-rig overturns, spilling logs in Santa Cruz County
A big-rig overturned, spilling logs onto a road in Santa Cruz County.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the solo crash occurred at Buena Vista Drive between Trabing Road and Larkin Valley Road. Officers have closed the road and don’t expect to reopen it until Friday night.
No injuries were reported.
Wires are down on the road. Pacific Gas and Electric was called out to make repairs but they don’t expect to restore power until Saturday.
“Please be patient while we work with PG&E and Auto Care Towing to clear up the roadway,” said CHP.
