Gang member caught with stolen gun in King City

A gang member from Watsonville is behind bars after being caught with a stolen gun in King City.

According to King City Police, officers stopped Arnuflo Diaz Jr. in a 2016 Gold Honda Accord on Highway 101 at the Canal St. exit on Thursday, July 26th.

Officers stopped him for speeding, but they then noticed a stun gun in plain view.

After officers did a records check on Diaz, they discovered he was a convicted felon and gang member.

Officers then found a loaded 9MM pistol in the car reported stolen out of Santa Cruz County.
