PG&E reports outages for a couple thousand customers in Monterey County

Pacific Gas & Electric is reporting thousands of customers without power in Monterey County, Saturday night.

Their website, as of 10:30 p.m., shows 2,818 customers are affected by the outage between Chular and Gonzales.

PG&E reports the outage began at 8:58 p.m. and is expected to be restored shortly after midnight, Sunday. They posted they have “assigned a crew to assess the outage” and the cause is unknown.

There is another reported outage between Gonzales and Camphora, PG&E writes has impacted more than 200 customers.
