At least 22 people injured during tent collapse at Ft. Hunter Liggett.
At least 22 soldiers have been injured after a U.S. Army UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter landing blew over a tent structure at Ft. Hunter Liggett, according to their Facebook page. There are no reported fatalities at this time.
The majority of the injured are being treated on sight. Two were evacuated by air to Fresno and two others were evacuated by ground to Twin Cites Medical Center in Templeton.
The accident happened during an annual U.S. Army Reserve exercise.

7/18/18 10:35 p.m. A representative from Ft. Hunter Liggett says a helicopter trying to land kicked up wind and knocked over a tent structure.
Greenfield Fire says at least 12 people were in need of immediate medical attention. Several engines were initially called for assistance, but were later canceled.
According to Ft. Hunter Liggett’s Facebook page, there are no reported fatalities at this time.
