Scotts Valley residents reporting water outage

Scotts Valley police said they received several calls of a possible water outage around 5 a.m. Monday. It happened on the north end of the city.

Water officials in Scotts Valley said they found the source of the issue and water was restored by 7 a.m.

An eight inch water main broke and the valve was shut off while crews made the proper repairs. The water outage affected about 2,000 customers.
