Big rig rollover causes backup on Highway 156 near Castroville

Traffic was backed up on Highway 156 at Castroville Boulevard Monday morning after a big rig rollover accident.

The crash happened just before 6 a.m.

The drive, approximately 36-year-old was ejected and suffered major injuries but is expected to be ok. He was taken to Natividad Hospital.

CHP is investigating the cause of the crash.
