Hundreds of pounds of marijuana stolen and residents assaulted in robbery
Just before 4:30 Saturday morning there was a robbery and home invasion at a marijuana grow outside Salinas.
It happened near the intersection of Potter Road and Highway 101.
There may have been as many as six suspects who broke into the house, duct taped those inside and assaulted more people in the warehouse.
Those assaulted had minor injuries.
The robbers stole hundreds of pounds of marijuana valued at more than $300K, a large amount of cash and five guns.
The Monterey County Sheriff’s Office is still investigating, but they do not have any suspect information yet.
