Fatal motorcycle accident on Old Stage Road
One man is dead following an accident on Old Stage Road.
The CHP tells KION the call came in around 12:14 this afternoon, and they are still on scene.
A 22-year-old male motorcyclist from Salinas was in the ditch when they arrived and was pronounced dead.
He was driving a 2017 Vulcan S 650 model Kawasaki motorcycle.
Right now CHP does not know what speed he was going but they believe it was faster than the speed limit.
Once next of kin have been notified, an identity will be released.
