Construction site burglar arrested in Soledad, second suspect wanted
A burglary suspect accused of stealing thousands of dollars in tools, and a white Ford F-350 truck from a construction site in Carmel was arrested in Soledad.
The burglary took place at a construction site on Carmel Way on June 23.
Thursday morning, The Carmel Police Department, Soledad Police and the Peninsula Regional Violence and Narcotics Team served a search warrant at two homes in the 1200 block of Carmelo Street in Soledad.
During a search of the homes officers found stolen property taken from the burglary in Carmel. Sixty pounds of processed marijuana, a butane honey oil lab and a motorcycle that was reported stolen out of Monterey was also found.
The stolen Ford F-350 panel truck was not located.
24-year-old Jordan Gonzalez of Soledad was arrested for burglary, vehicle theft and conspiracy. He was booked into Monterey County Jail with a bail of $100,000.
41-year-old Joe Ramirez of Soledad is wanted by the Carmel Police Department and PRVNT for burglary, vehicle theft, conspiracy, possession of stolen property, and manufacturing a controlled substance. Ramirez is described as 6’04’ tall, 180 lbs, brown eyes and black hair. If Ramirez is seen, call 911.
