Road reopened after large high voltage power line hung over Abbott Street

UPDATE: 6/27/2018 10:41 a.m. The Salinas City Firefighters Association said Abbott Street was reopened.

PREVIOUS STORY:

A large high voltage power line and pole are hanging above Abbott Street in Salinas.

The Salinas City Firefighters Association said the damaged power line caused them to close Abott St. in the area of East Romie Lane Wednesday morning.

Firefighters and Pacific Gas & Electric crews are currently on scene.
