Watsonville PD investigates Friday night stabbing
A fight in Watsonville led to a man being stabbed multiple times.
The Watsonville Police Department said a 20-year-old man was stabbed in the 0-99 block of West Front Street just after 7 p.m. Friday. Officers found the victim lying on the ground in the 100 block of Rodriguez Street.
The victim is being treated at a local hospital. The 20-year-old told officers that he was in the area of West Front Street when he got into a fight with another man.
“The victim then stated that the man, who has not been identified, pulled out a knife and stabbed him,” said Police Media & Communications Specialist, Michelle Pulido.
The suspect was described as a white man wearing a red hoodie and blue jeans.
