Victim ID’d in fatal motorcycle crash
UPDATE: The victim in this crash has been identified as 68-year-old William West from Carmel Valley.
The CHP tells us West was on his motorcycle heading east when another truck was heading west. For unknown reasons, West’s motorcycle crossed into the other lane and sideswiped the truck.
West died from his injuries.

Cachagua Road is closed as officials work the scene of a fatal accident.
It happened around 11:30 this morning at Cachagua Road & Tassajara Road.
At this time, officials only tell us the fatal accident involves a motorcyclist.
