Santa Cruz Sheriff’s: At-risk man found in Modesto

UPDATE: 6/5/2018 The Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office said a missing at risk man has been found.

67-year-old James Avery has dementia and was last seen near 7th Avenue in Live Oak around 1 p.m. Sunday.

He was found safe in Modesto the sheriff’s office reported Tuesday.

The Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office needs help finding a missing at risk man.

67-year-old James Avery suffers from dementia and was last seen near 7th Avenue in Live Oak around 1 p.m. Sunday.

“Avery drives a white Chevy Silverado truck with license plate 5X53032 and may be headed to Southern California with the belief he is having work done on a motorcycle,” the Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office said.
