King City gang member arrested for sex with minor
A King City man was arrested for having a sexual relationship with a minor.
The girl had been reported missing by her parents.
During an unrelated investigation in the 200 block of Sussex Way, investigators from the Major Crimes Unit discovered that 19-year-old Jorge Flores, a known gang member was in a long term sexual relationship with the girl.
On Thursday (5/31), Flores was interviewed and arrested and the girl was released to her parents.
Flores was booked into Monterey County Jail with a bail set to $2,000,000.
The Major Crimes Unit is a collaboration of the Greenfield and King City Police Departments.
