Traffic stop in Santa Cruz turns up heroin and meth

A Santa Cruz man was arrested for several felonies after being pulled over by Santa Cruz County Deputies.

Officials say late Wednesday evening, a Deputy was on patrol in the area of Highway 1 and Riverside Drive.

He pulled over Donal Radonich for driving a vehicle that was nearly five years expired.

While one Deputy spoke with Radonich, another spotted drug paraphernalia in the car, which allowed deputies to conduct a full search of the car.

This turned up more than 47 grams of heroin, over 57 grams of meth and more than $3000.

Radonich was arrested for several felonies to include possession of drugs for sale.
