Woman injured in car crash near Pinto Lake
This afternoon a woman was hit by her car at a kid’s softball game.
It happened in a parking lot near Pinto Lake off Green Valley Road.
The woman had backed her car into the parking spot and was standing near the trunk.
Another car hit the front and it rolled onto her.
The extent of her injuries is still unknown, but they are believed to be major.
Santa Cruz CHP says there is nothing to indicate that drugs or alcohol were a factor.
Both the driver and the woman hit are believed to be related to the kids in the softball game.
