Salinas Police identify Victoria’s Secret bra bandits
UPDATE: 3/20/2018 1:33 p.m. The Salinas Police Department has identified two suspects wanted for stealing thousands of dollars worth of bras from a Victoria’s Secret back in January.
The two woman have been identified as Mercedes Cannonier, and Sonja Reid.
On January 21, the suspects allegedly stole more than $17,000 worth of bras from a Victoria’s Secret at Northridge Mall.
“These woman, along with others are also suspects in similar cases in Monterey and the Bay Area,” said Salinas PD.

The Salinas Police Department originally listed three suspects but have since retracted that statement to two.

More than $17,000 worth of bras were stolen from a store in Salinas.
According to Salinas Police, the brazen theft took place on January 21, when three women entered the Victoria’s Secret in Northridge Mall and took nearly 300 bras.
“They waited for the employee to leave the immediate area, and proceeded to steal nearly 300 bras valued at over $17,000,” said SPD.
