Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office seizes firearms found in man’s car.

The Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office busted a man for having a loaded handgun in his car along with an unloaded rifle.

The Sheriff’s Office said a deputy was patrolling the Davenport Landing Beach parking lot when the deputy found Craig Barriagan with the loaded gun sitting on the center console and an unloaded rifle in the back seat.

The Sheriff’s office has seized seven firearms in criminal cases since March 3rd.

Deputies warned they will be out patrolling more neighborhoods.
