President Donald Trump to visit California
President Donald Trump is scheduled to visit California sometime next week, according to White House press secretary Sarah Sanders.
Sanders confirmed the President’s west coast visit during Wednesday’s White House press briefing. She did not include details of his trip.
Trump’s visit to the Golden State will be his first since he became president.
When asked why it’s taken President Trump this long to come to California she said, “I think it’s because he’s been busy growing the economy, creating jobs, defeating ISIS, remaking the judiciary.”
Wednesday’s announcement comes a day after the Trump administration filed a lawsuit to block California laws that extend protections to people living in the U.S. illegally.
