Human remains found near Soquel High School
The Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office needs help identifying a body found near Soquel High School.
Human remains were found in a wooden area in Soquel, north of 4343 Soquel Drive on February 1.
“The decomposed body appeared to have been there for at least three months,” said Sgt. Brian Cleveland.
The Sheriff’s Office believes the person was a white man over 50 years-old and between 5’7 and 6’3 feet tall. The man had long red wavy hair kept in a pony tail. Investigators said the man was missing all of his teeth before he died.
He was found wearing a 1999 Hollister, California 7th Annual Poker Run shirt. The back of the shirt depicted a company called South County Motorcycles, which is located in Gilroy Ca.
Sgt. Cleveland said, “Although the body was located near Soquel High School, there is no direct association to the school.”
If you recognize the clothing or the description of this man, please contact the Sheriff’s Coroner Investigations Unit at 831-454-7790.
