Gilroy teen arrested for sexual assault

A Gilroy man was arrested for sexually assaulting at least three victims.

In March 2017, the Gilroy Police Department received a report of a possible sexual assault involving 18-year-old Gianni Filice.

Detectives investigated the allegations and obtained an arrest warrant for Filice. As the investigation continued, two more victims came forward and said Filice had assaulted them.

“In each case, Mr. Filice had established a relationship with the victim prior to the assault. He is currently in custody at the Santa Clara County Jail,” said Gilroy PD.

Police believe there are more victims that have not come forward yet. The Gilroy Police Department encourages anyone who was a victim of Filice to come forward and make a report.
