Drive-by-shooting on Highway 101 in Greenfield

A drive-by-shooting shut down a portion of Highway 101 in Monterey County.

According to the California Highway Patrol, one person was shot going northbound on Highway 101 near the Thorne exit in Greenfield.

The shooting occurred around 9:18 a.m. Friday. The victim is expected to survive.

CHP reopened this area of the highway.

The Monterey County Sheriff’s Office is investigating.
