Police: $2,500 reward for information on Greenfield homicide suspect
UPDATE: 2/22/2018 3:28 p.m. A $2,500 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of a Greenfield homicide suspect.
On February 20, 32-year-old Joseph Suniga was shot while riding a bike in the 600 block of Apple Street. Suniga died at the scene, marking the city’s 2nd homicide of the year.
Investigators are now reaching out to the public to see if anyone knows who the shooter is.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic juvenile in his mid teens. He was last seen riding a BMX style bike away from the scene wearing a white collared shirt, and dark pants.

Greenfield Police have identified the man shot and killed on Apple Street Tuesday.
The victim was identified as 32-year-old Joseph Suniga from Greenfield.
According to police, Suniga was riding his bike when he was shot. The suspect rode off after the shooting. The suspect was described as a Hispanic teen with light brown hair, wearing a white collared shirt and dark pants, riding a BMX style bicycle.

The Greenfield Police Department is investigating the city’s second homicide of the year.
According to Greenfield Police, a man was riding his bike in the 600 block of Apple Avenue when a juvenile shot at him. Police responded to the shooting around 1:20 p.m. Tuesday.
When officers arrived they found a Hispanic male in his 30’s on the sidewalk suffering from at least one gunshot wound. The victim died at the scene.
