String of vehicle burglaries in Santa Cruz County
A warning from the Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office about car burglaries.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, 10 vehicles were broken into on Monday night. The majority of burglaries happened from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Deputies were able to recover some of the stolen items from a building on 41st Avenue. Deputies are now working to identify the locations in surveillance video taken around the time of the thefts.
The Sheriff’s Office is warning people to lock your car doors and remove any valuables from inside the car.
