Gas leak closes area in Pacific Grove
A gas leak in Pacific Grove shut down several streets and caused people to evacuate.
According to Pacific Grove Police, The area of Grove Street, Caledonia Avenue and Central Avenue was closed and a precautionary evacuation was in place.
PG&E was called on scene to make repairs Wednesday afternoon. Crews were able to shut the gas off around 2:50 p.m.
“Gas is shut off and any threat is mitigated. Techs are still on scene working the line,” said PG&E.
