King City Police bust suspects in stolen car

King City Police arrested three people after pulling them over in a stolen car.

The suspects were pulled over on 1100 block of San Antonio Drive Tuesday night. Officers arrested 20-year-old Tania Esmeralda Ortiz, 19-year-old Maria Fernanda Martinez, and 25-year-old Antonio Ceballos.

Drug paraphernalia was found on Martinez. Ceballos had an outstanding felony arrest warrant out of Fresno and a misdemeanor arrest warrant from the county of Monterey.

All suspects were booked in the Monterey County Jail.

King City Police is also investigating two cases of negligent shooting.

Both shootings happened about an hour apart Tuesday night. The first shots were fired at 9:10 p.m. in the 1200 block of Amherst Drive and then another round around 10 p.m. in the South Third Street area.

No suspects or victims were found.
