Watsonville man busted with loaded gun, meth and stolen motorcycle
Watsonville Police served a search warrant and found a man in possession of a loaded firearm, methamphetamine and a stolen motorcycle.
Officers responded to the 100 block of Riverside Drive for a report of a brandishing of a firearm on New Year’s Day.
When they arrived, Officers found out 30 year old Pedro Magana drove away from the scene after brandishing a handgun at the victim during an argument.
WPD followed up on the case and obtained a search and arrest warrant for Magana, who is currently pending a separate possession of a firearm case.
On January 11th, WPD Officers with the assistance of the Santa Cruz County Auto Theft Reduction Enforcement Team (SCARE) and the Santa Cruz County Anti-Crime Team (SCCACT) went to Magana’s residence and arrested him without incident.
A search of his residence revealed over 100 grams of Methamphetamine suspected of being packaged for sales, a loaded firearm, gang indicia, and a stolen motorcycle.
Magana was arrested for the listed charges and booked into the Santa Cruz County Jail.
