A Santa Cruz man was busted with a gun, drugs and thousands of dollars worth of cash inside his home.

A search warrant was served at a home in the 3000 block of Salisbury Drive Thursday. Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Deputies found 35-year-old Billy Hill and two others on the property during the search.

“Deputies located over 5 ounces of methamphetamine, $3000.00 in cash, digital scale, body armor, .22 caliber pistol, and ammunition,” said Sgt. Brian Cleveland.

Hill was arrested for being in possession of drugs for sale and being a felon in possession of a gun. He was booked into the Santa Cruz County Jail with a bail of $250,000.

A woman on the property had two arrests warrants and was also booked into jail.
