Out of state fugitive caught burglarizing city building in Marina

An out of state fugitive was arrested after he was caught breaking into a city building here on the Central Coast.

According to Marina Police, 27-year-old William Tracy, a fugitive of Indiana, broke into the Marina City Corporation Yard located at 3040 Lake Court. The incident occurred on November 9 around 10:25 a.m.

Marina officers spotted Tracy on the sand dunes at the end of Lake Court. Officers ordered Tracy to stop, he refused and ran from cops. Officers were able to catch up to Tracy and took him into custody.

Tracy was booked into the Monterey County Jail for burglary and resisting/obstructing officers. Tracy had an arrest warrant out of Indiana and was booked on that as well.
