Gilroy Police find missing Hollister teen

UPDATE: 11/3/2017 12:32 p.m. The missing Hollister teen has been found.

According to Hollister Police, the Gilroy Police Department located 16-year-old Jade Marie Garza in Gilroy around 12 p.m. Friday. She had been missing from her Hollister home since October 28.

No further information has been released at this time.

The Hollister Police Department said they need the publics help locating a missing 16-year-old girl.

According to police, Jade Marie Garza went missing from her Hollister home on October 28. She was last seen at her home around 8:36 p.m. She was wearing shorts and a tank top. Police said it’s unclear if she had other clothes with her when she left her home. She has braces with shoulder length hair.

Garza is a student at Gilroy High School and police believe she may be in the Gilroy area.

The Hollister Police and Gilroy Police Departments are both investigating this incident and request that the public call the police department if Jade is seen.
