Update: Two bodies found near Boulder Creek Cemetery suspected suicide

UPDATE: 10/30/2017 1:50 p.m. Authorities believe the two bodies found near a Boulder Creek cemetery were suicides.

According to the Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office, a property caretaker found the bodies of a man and a woman Saturday morning at the end of Harmon Street in Boulder Creek.

The caretaker said he saw a handgun and a note near the bodies around 10:30 a.m.

Investigators are calling the deaths suspected suicide with no foul play.

The coroner’s office says it is waiting on the results of an autopsy to determine the official cause of death.
