Car fire ignites brush near Laureles Grade in Carmel Valley
A car erupted in flames and ignited the brush on the side of the road in Carmel Valley.
According to Cal Fire, a call came in for a vehicle on fire around 3:09 p.m. near Los Laureles Grade Road and Hidden Hills Road. Traffic backed up in the area.
Both Cal Fire and Monterey County Regional Fire responded to the scene.
The fire was extinguished at 3:34 p.m.
