Nearly 5,000 PG&E customers without power in Watsonville, Soquel and Capitola

**UPDATE**

At 1:30 p.m.. PG&E crews safely restored power to nearly all customers who lost service in Capitola, Soquel and Watsonville.

They currently have 36 customers out in Soquel and Capitola, and 17 in Watsonville – total of 53.

Crews are working safely and as quickly as possible to restore power to all customers as they investigate the cause.

ORIGINAL: PG& E officials tell us there are two outages on the Central Coast under investigation.

The first happened at 11:30 Tuesday morning in Watsonville impacting 590 customers.

The second happened at 12:10 in Soquel and Capitola impacting 4,375 customers.

There is no word yet on what caused the outage as crews are working to restore power and investigate the incident. The company estimates power to be restored today around 4:45.
