Man arrested after disturbance at Salinas sports bar

One man was arrested after a disturbance at a local sports bar.

Salinas Police Officers responded to Buffalo Wild Wings for a report of a disturbance inside the business.

When they arrived, officers were advised one of the subjects involved in the disturbance claimed to have a firearm.

Officers located 25-year-old Jose Plancarte inside the business and a search of Plancarte revealed a loaded Ruger LC9 9mm firearm concealed in his waistband.

The firearm was found to be stolen out of Salinas. Plancarte was also in possession of methamphetamine. He was arrested and booked at the Monterey County Jail for firearm charges, possession of controlled substance and possession of stolen property.
