Free depression screenings to be offered to Central Coast residents

Residents on the Central Coast will have the opportunity for free, anonymous depression screenings this weekend.

On Saturday, October 21st from 9:00am – 12:00pm, Community Human Services’ Family Service Center will host free anonymous depression screenings for the community.

In an effort to reach individuals across Monterey and Salinas, CHS is providing this no cost event to connect individuals with the support services they need. The Family Service Center is located at 433 Salinas St., in Salinas. The event is open to all and free.

Since 1969, Community Human Services has provided professional, affordable mental health, substance abuse counseling and homeless services to the residents of Monterey County. These services focus on the entire family and include programs for people of all ages.
