CHP investigate fatal accident in Chualar early Wednesday morning

UPDATE 10/19/17 3:45 a.m.: According to the CHP, 36-year-old Carlos Alberto Tinoco-Pamatz died early Wednesday morning when he drove the tractor he was working on over an enbankment.

Tinoco-Pamatz was driving on Chualar Canyon Road toward Old Stage Road.

CHP says he was driving at an unsafe speed on the dirt road and in dense fog.

Due to weather conditions, he was unable to see that the road came to an end.

Tinoco-Pamatz was ejected from the trailer as it overturned.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Alcohol and drugs do not appear to have played a role in the accident.

CHP is investigating a fatal accident at Chualar Canyon Road and Old Stage Road this morning.

A CHP spokesperson says crews are on scene investigating the incident.
