Watsonville men busted for guns and drugs

Watsonville Police busted two family members for guns and drugs at a home in Santa Cruz County.

Officers had a warrant for the arrest of 34-year-old Ruben Espinoza. According to Watsonville PD, on October 13 around 4 p.m. officers located Espinoza at a house on Grant Street. Espinoza fled to the back of the residence upon seeing the officers. During a search of the area officers found multiple unspent bullets. Officers located additional ammunition, a gun not registered to the residence, and suspected Methamphetamine. However Espinoza was not found.

On October 18, at 11 a.m. WPD returned to the residence and arrested Espinoza as he jumped a fence into a neighboring yard. 28-year-old Armando Espinoza was also located and arrested for being a parolee in possession of a gun and ammunition.
