Santa Cruz County websites down during Bear Fire
UPDATE: Santa Cruz County websites are back up.
PREVIOUS STORY:
According to the Santa Cruz County Office of Emergency Services all county websites are down.
Officials do not have internet due to a construction accident. AT&T said there was a break to a fiber and have not given an estimated restoration time.
OES is asking residents to not call dispatch or the Office of Emergency Services.
Santa Cruz County would like to clarify that Cal Fire is the lead agency and that the county is not posting Bear Fire updates to its website, but is amplifying Cal Fire’s message on social media.
